Each project is assigned to a specific QA team member who will be responsible for QA’ing the project on a daily basis. The leads will be QA’d one day behind, if the leads are added on Monday, they will go through the QA process on Tuesday. The QA worker will also make every effort to complete same day QA on projects the day before their rest day.
If it is the QA worker’s RD and a project is in urgent need of QA’ing the JM/PM/TL can notify Deone via her Hipchat (even if she is offline or it is her RD) and she will ask, whenever possible, another QA team member to complete the urgent QA on the project.
If the project is due to have an update sent to the client the QA team member will make every effort to complete a same day QA, the JM/PM/TL can assist with this by noting when an update is due to be sent to the client in the project’s ToDo list.
As soon as the PM/JM/TL foresees that a new project will need QA’ing they should put a QA-Unassigned Label on the project in the DB and notify Deone via her Hipchat (even if she is offline or it is her RD) and she will respond to the request and assign the project to a QA Team member.
The first few leads that are added to new projects will be QA’d on the same day whenever possible.
The JM/PM/TL should notify Deone any time a project is paused or restarted.
Once the JM/PM/TL has closed the project in the DB, please notify Deone that it has been marked as done.
CHANGE PROJECT INSTRUCTIONS
If there are any updates or changes to the projects instructions the JM/PM/TL should add the information to the project thread in the DB, this is necessary so any QA team member working on the project will see the changes.
CORRECTED LEADS QA REQUEST
If you require corrected leads to be QA’d please have all the leads in one tab add a note on the project thread in the DB, including the name of the tab and rows you wish to be QA’d.
